Our approach is based on data and science. We stay continuously up-to-date with the latest developments in endurance sports training and theory. This allows us to choose a method that suits you—or combine multiple methods. We analyze your training data using heart rate sensors and/or power meters to closely track your progress and make adjustments where needed. This way, we guide you toward your goal in a healthy and responsible manner. Our coaching is always honest, realistic, and well-founded.

Sport should be fun above all! That’s why we place great value on enjoyment in the sport. Motivation comes from training, training leads to improvement, improvement creates motivation, and that motivation fuels even more training. This “circle of progress” helps you continuously improve. Our ultimate goal? To see you improve with joy and reach levels you never thought possible!

Lionel Wille
My name is Lionel Wille, and I’m the founder of Ferrum Endurance Coaching. I started triathlon in 2013 but lacked the proper guidance to achieve real results. After struggling with cramps in several races, I decided to dive into training methods and physiology. In April 2018, I became an IRONMAN Certified Coach and completed multiple TrainingPeaks University modules.
Of course, I applied my methods to my own training, which led to multiple participations at ITU/World Triathlon World Championships and eight full distance triathlon finishes (fastest time: 9:43:32 at IM Copenhagen). I’ve had the honor of racing twice at the IM70.3 World Championship and once at the Ironman World Championship in 2023.
With my background in aviation, I’m very familiar with irregular schedules—and I’ve integrated this understanding into our coaching method.
Gaby Reijseger
My name is Gaby Reijseger and since 2022, I’ve been a Ferrum Endurance coach (Ironman certified). As an occupational and health psychologist, I specialize in energy management, motivation, and mental well-being. In coaching athletes—regardless of their level—I always aim to optimize performance with joy in sport as the foundation.
I started triathlon in 2018 and completed my first full distance race at Ironman Kalmar in 2023.
Peggie Wierda
My name is Peggie Wierda. I was born in 1974 in Maasbree, am married, and the proud mother of two daughters. I started my own practice in March 2016. After studying at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam, I pursued a degree in Physical Therapy. Since 2000, I’ve worked part-time with great pleasure at the Military Rehabilitation Center Aardenburg.
I later specialized in psychosomatic physiotherapy and body-oriented coaching. Helping people has always been my calling. I have a strong belief in people’s inner strength. My strengths lie in motivating, listening, and observing—literally and figuratively holding up a mirror. These qualities are incredibly valuable in triathlon coaching. I’m TTN3 certified and handle the one-on-one training sessions at Ferrum Endurance, especially in swimming and running, where we can make big strides in a short time.
